From sun-drenched parks, scenic rooftops, peaceful preserves, and sandy beaches—this fitness lover's playground is sure to wow.
Try strength yoga classes at dawn, a restorative meditation amidst the trees, or a soundbath at sunset surrounded by crashing waves. For high intensity, you'll find invigorating boxfit just off Bellevue, or even a run club meet up every week.
Switch up your routine with these outdoor spots and specialty classes held in the open air.
Awaken body, mind and spirit amidst sea, sky and sand. Start each Saturday with all levels yoga classes led by Innerlight Center for Yoga in front of the Pavilion at First Beach June 14 through September 27.
The class will be held when foggy and wet but not in steady rain. Parking is free in the middle lot for yoga class.

Mend Yoga is back on Goat Island!

Started back in 2015 by Adam Stadel, this Tuesday night run club begins at the Run Newport store located at Long Wharf Mall for a 3 or 5 mile group run. Following the run, hang out for FREE drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the Brenton Hotel.
This is a truly inclusive group; with a walking group following for those who are quite not up to the full run.
THE SCHEDULE:
All year long on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM.
Also organized by Run Newport, this group meets at Fastnet Irish Pub weekly on Thursdays. Start and end at the pub, run a 5K, and drink a beer afterwards — because you earned it.

Coral Run Club is an open to all pop-up run club located on Aquidneck Island. For meet up times and dates follow them on Instagram and Strava.
Most Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. The next specialty run is on June 17th at 6:30 PM — run & chug starting and ending at O'Brien's Pub in Newport.
Warren's own Desiata Training leads a weekly 3 mile run (or walk) club, meeting at the iconic Del’s Depot on the East Bay Bike Path, every Thursday. No sign up needed, just show up and run or walk!

What's SUP?
For those who don't know, SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding. The Newport SUPer Club is getting people out on the water with two SUP group clubs, PaddleFit Fridays and Group Paddle Tuesdays, and 101 lessons.

This fitness movement, originally born out of Boston, has reached Newport and over fifty other locations globally. The November Project originally started as a community organization to bring people together who desired to stay in shape over the chilly New England winter months.
